How to get past Perfectionism

Perfectionism is a common obstacle to acting and achieving our goals.

We can be our own worst critics, doubting our abilities and second-guessing our decisions. However, perfectionism is often based on unrealistic standards and an unrealistic view of ourselves.

It’s important to remember that we are all imperfect beings, and that mistakes are part of the human experience.

The key is to act despite our fears and doubts.

When we do, we gain confidence in ourselves and our ability to achieve our goals. We also begin to see the value in imperfection.

By accepting ourselves as we are, we can start living fuller, more authentic lives.

Striving for perfectionism can sabotage our success.

You know that voice inside your head that tells you that you’re not good enough, that you can’t do it, that you’re going to fail? The one that holds you back from taking action and going after your dreams? That’s perfectionism. And it’s time to get past it.

The first step is to act. It doesn’t matter if it’s perfect or not, just take the first step. Once you get started, the momentum will help carry you forward.

The second step is to believe in yourself. You must believe that you can achieve your goals, even if you don’t yet see how, it’s possible. When you have self-belief, anything is possible.

Finally, believe in the value of what you’re doing.

Why are you doing this? What difference will it make in your life and the lives of others? When you believe in the value of what you’re doing, perfectionism fades away and is replaced by a passion for excellence.

You also need to embrace a growth mindset-the belief that you can always improve and learn new things.  These are essential qualities for any entrepreneur.
